Detailed Trip

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On the day of travel, our company driver guide will be glad to pick you up for a transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Kigali international airport is in Rwanda and is marked by a breathtaking landscape. The journey from Kigali Rwanda takes approximately 3-5 hours while enjoying the stunning undulating hills and green vegetation cover.

You will have a stopover for refreshment, lunch and then proceed to your accommodation facility in one of the four sectors of Bwindi impenetrable national park for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking tour and departure

Start the day with a delicious cup of coffee, get dressed in your trekking attire and then visit gorillas in their natural habitat. Depending on the sector you choose to visit, the ranger guides will welcome and brief you about the trekking dos and don'ts. Gorillas leave in groups of five or more members, led by a dominant silverback, whose duty is to find new territories, protect all the family members and fight the enemies.

While on foot, the first place to visit will be the area in which they were last seen, following the broken tree branches and leaves. You will also see a variety of other forest mammals, primates, and birds, that all share the same kingdom with gorillas. Gorilla trekking lasts for roughly 2-8 hours, with an hour for taking photos and watching the happy apes gaze at their visitors.

After re-uniting with your cousins, have a lunch break in the wilderness, before departing for your flight to Kigali international airport or overnight stay at your hotel in

Kigali city. In case you want to experience the beauty of Uganda, then the route will change to Entebbe / Kampala.

End of safari.
